Early morning of the first day of 2011, our group of five (including my aunts, uncles, and the niece) embarked on a road trip from Johor to Melaka. Melaka is well-known for its rich history heritage as one of the major cities in the early trade routes. Throughout its history, Melaka has been ruled by the Sultans, the Portuguese, the Dutch and the British before becoming part of Malaysia.
