Neighbours

We live in a time when man-made "trees" are "next-door neighbors" with nature. It's the reality for us. It seems like we almost cannot live without either of them. Yesterday my dad joked that he can still live in the jungle and survive (i.e. without the necessities of life as we know them--electricity, internet, cars etc.). Are we relying too much on things like internet, cellphone, money and so on?
